Hello, Regenerate Your World Readers!
Life is challenging and rewarding. It requires knowledge, skills, and support to make it through. However, not everyone has access to the resources and networks they need to turn their dreams into reality. I have a dream of growing my business. I needed extra support and that's where ILT Academy came in. Their mission is to train entrepreneurs from all backgrounds, locations, and populations to create thriving 21st-century businesses through their one-of-a-kind virtual learning and community-building platform. I had the privilege of experiencing ILT Academy's 10-Week Lean Startup Program, and it was an incredible journey. The program provided coaching, support, and resources that were crucial to my lean startup journey.
Entrepreneurship is not only about creating a business, it's also about personal growth and development. During my time at ILT Academy's 10-Week Lean Startup Program, I not only learned valuable lessons related to my business but also lessons that can be applied to any aspect of life.
One of the most important lessons I learned was to try new things with an open attitude, especially when it comes to technology. The program introduced me to various online tools and platforms that helped me streamline my work and collaborate with others. Initially, I was hesitant to use some of these tools, but I soon realized that they were essential for my success. I learned that embracing technology can make life easier and more efficient.
Another lesson I learned was to go out on a limb and take risks. As an entrepreneur, it's important to take calculated risks and step out of your comfort zone. The program encouraged me to experiment with new ideas, approaches, and strategies, and to not be afraid of failure. Failure is not the end, but rather an opportunity to learn and grow.
Additionally, the program taught me the value of reaching out to classmates and building relationships. Entrepreneurship can be a lonely journey, but having a support system can make all the difference. I learned that connecting with my peers and sharing my experiences and challenges can help me gain new perspectives and insights. By building relationships with my classmates, I gained new ideas, feedback, and support.
Showing up was also a lesson I learned during the program. The classes were from 6 pm to 10 pm, and it was tempting to skip a session or two. However, I soon realized that showing up was not only important for my own learning but also for my classmates. By showing up, I demonstrated my commitment to my business and my peers, and I also gained valuable insights from the guest speakers and coaches.
Moreover, I learned that we all have something to give, regardless of our backgrounds or experiences. The program connected me with a diverse group of entrepreneurs who brought different perspectives, skills, and ideas. I learned that everyone has something unique to offer, and that collaboration and diversity are key to innovation and growth.
Finally, the program taught me that entrepreneurship (and life) is about the journey, not just the destination. The program emphasized the importance of enjoying the process, learning from failures, and celebrating successes. I learned that entrepreneurship is not a linear path, but rather a series of ups and downs. By embracing the journey, I gained resilience, perspective, and gratitude.
ILT Academy's 10-Week Lean Startup Program provided me with valuable lessons that extend beyond entrepreneurship. I learned to embrace technology, take risks, build relationships, show up, value diversity, and enjoy the journey. These lessons have not only helped me in my business but also in my personal life. I am grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of such a transformative program. A few questions I had the opportunity to think about over the past 10 weeks are:
What season of life are you in right now?
What are your top priorities right now?
Which three things are more important to you than anything else?
How do you feel about this last week/month/year?
What were your biggest lessons from this last week/month/year?
Take a few minutes to review the questions, pick one or two to reflect on, and think about how your answer can help you move forward. Much like the lessons I learned over the past several weeks will help me forward toward my entrepreneurship goals.
